A zombie tower defense game with you on the front line, Death Falls: Zombies Are Coming announced for Steam
Cape Town, South Africa – 29 September 2026 – Independent South African developer MoonCrust Games announced Death Falls: Zombies Are Coming today, a zombie tower defense game where you build by day and fight beside your defenses by night. The Steam page is live now and wishlists are open.
The engine’s busted, you’re hurt, and the woods aren’t as quiet as they should be. By day, gather timber, repair your RV, raise watchtowers and fences, and head out past the camp to clear guarded caches for weapons and recruit survivors. By night, the horde comes down every approach, and you meet it with a pump shotgun, a flamethrower, a chainsaw or a handful of grenades. Survive each stop, fix up your RV and drive on.
Most tower defense games keep you watching from above; in Death Falls you’re a survivor on the ground, moving between the approaches and fighting alongside the defenses you built. And the run travels: every stop on the road is a new patch of ground to hold, from a forest campground to a roadside gas station to a small town with four streets leading in.
The announcement trailer, 1080p60 with sound. No embargo: use it however you like.
Key features
- Build by day: gather timber, repair the RV and raise watchtowers where they count. At the gas station, one build throws up a whole fence ring with gates.
- Scavenge for weapons: clear guarded camps out in the world for a pump shotgun, hunting rifle, flamethrower, chainsaw, grenades and a stop-sign shield, and bring survivors home to hold the line.
- Fight on the front line: you’re on the field at night, not behind it, keeping the infected away from your home on wheels.
- Know what’s coming: Screamers whip the horde into a frenzy, Bloaters waddle up to your defenses and burst, and the Brute walks straight through a fence.
- Localized in 10 languages.
Availability
Death Falls: Zombies Are Coming is coming to Steam for Windows and macOS (Apple Silicon), with Linux and Steam Deck support in progress and full controller support. Wishlists are open now.
